Article Processing Charge
The Journal of Food, Nutrition, and Health Advances (JFNH Advances) is published as a fully Open-Access journal. We do not charge readers or institutions for accessing our published content.
To cover the costs associated with the publication process—including editorial management, double-blind peer review, plagiarism screening (Turnitin), copyediting, layout formatting, Crossref DOI registration, and long-term digital archiving—the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC).
1. Article Submission Fee: $0.00 (FREE)
JFNH Advances does not charge any submission fees. Authors are not required to pay any administrative or processing fees when submitting their manuscripts to the journal. The peer-review process is conducted entirely free of charge.
2. Article Processing Charge (APC)
An APC is only billed to the corresponding author after the manuscript has successfully passed the peer-review process and receives an official "Letter of Acceptance" from the Editorial Board.
The APC rates are structured as follows to support researchers globally:
-
International Authors: $10.00 (USD)
-
Indonesian Authors: Rp 150,000 (IDR)
3. Special APC Waiver Policy
To promote global scientific collaboration and support diversity in authorship, JFNH Advances offers a 100% APC Waiver (Free Publication) under the following conditions:
-
Indonesian authors who are officially affiliated with an international (non-Indonesian) university or research institution.
-
Manuscripts that are co-authored collaboratively between Indonesian researchers and international researchers.
Authors who are eligible for this waiver should state their request in the "Comments for the Editor" section during the initial OJS submission process or contact the editorial team.
4. Payment Methods and Policies
-
Payment Instructions: Detailed payment instructions (Bank Transfer or Digital Payment platforms) will be provided exclusively via the official institutional email to the corresponding author alongside the acceptance notification.
-
Refund Policy: Once an article is published and the DOI is activated, the APC is strictly non-refundable, even if the article is later retracted due to author misconduct.
